I can't wait to know what you think.

Stephanie, I think I know why your daughter thought it was creepier. It brings alive a typical childhood nightmare, the idea of your mother being replaced by a fake mother, a monster of just an impostor. When I was maybe 8 or 9 I had a suspect that my mother wasn't really her, and began checking for clues, like malls at the right places lol
It was a terrifying thought!!

OMG Darla! I'm glad you didn't! You would have traumatised your daughter for life!!valentinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01568749601493955929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-14017553229573216732009-02-24T18:32:00.001+00:002009-02-24T18:32:00.001+00:00I saw this with my daughters and we all loved it. ...I saw this with my daughters and we all loved it. Surprisingly, my 10yo was more creeped out than the 8yo. When I told her I was going to dress up as her other mother for Halloween next year, she was not amused. I was dying to creep into her room that night with big old coat buttons on my eyes - I'm such a good mother! - but I managed to restrain myself. Bad mom! :-)Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551558744801344170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-8961902284736089052009-02-24T18:32:00.000+00:002009-02-24T18:32:00.000+00:00I saw this with my daughters and we all loved it. ...I saw this with my daughters and we all loved it. All in all I really enjoyed the movie and I too thought the music was awesome!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-51504268199180696982009-02-22T21:51:00.000+00:002009-02-22T21:51:00.000+00:00I'm glad you enjoyed it so much :D Intellectually ...I'm glad you enjoyed it so much :D Intellectually I completely agree with you that the quality of a movie doesn't depend on how closely it follows the book it's based on...but emotionally, I can get too attached to a story and resent any changes that are made to it :P Having said that, I still think I'm gonna love this movie too.Ana S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16092495983972185943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-70708985938955125432009-02-22T15:00:00.000+00:002009-02-22T15:00:00.000+00:00Hey, Valentina! I think I prefer the second one--the yellow buttons are a better contrast to the sepia tone.
