Yes, it's definitely for younger readers. I'm looking forward to giving these to my girls to read when they're a bit older!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551558744801344170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-22997796267414696252008-05-04T11:09:00.000+01:002008-05-04T11:09:00.000+01:00Em, yeah they are good fun:)losette, that's good t...Em, yeah they are good fun:)

losette, that's good then, you have three more books to explore! I only found out about it last year! Ah! Shame on me for being so clueless. =/Josettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16398849417612962089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-76345813286913048602008-05-02T00:38:00.000+01:002008-05-02T00:38:00.000+01:00I loved these books! :)I loved these books! :)Emhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041695477739391198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-86249835512645064012008-05-01T20:39:00.000+01:002008-05-01T20:39:00.000+01:00Mariel, I'm glad I'm not alone! It musn't be easy t...Mariel, I'm glad I'm not alone!
It musn't be easy to do your job! This series sounds like a good place to start.

And like Mariel, I know what you mean about being a pacifist but enjoying reading about strong heroines.Ana S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16092495983972185943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2471059094266852621.post-36021904083350263452008-04-30T02:20:00.000+01:002008-04-30T02:20:00.000+01:00I know what you mean about the male-female stereot...I know what you mean about the male-female stereotypes. I too am very against violence and war as a means to an end, but find myself very drawn to strong female (kick ass!) heroines. Although it seems a contradiction, perhaps the physical strength of these heroines is just a metaphor for the strength of character and personality that we all desire. I personally would never want to be a man! I work with enough smelly (potty-mouthed) sailors who scratch away at their bits and sniff around anything female...the fairer sex we most definitely are! And if that means i'm not as physically strong as the guy behind me...well I can live with that!

Great review, thanks!marielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00153519657364894012noreply@blogger.com
